Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

Emerging Travel Group seeks a Senior Reporting Specialist to ensure accurate IFRS financial statement preparation for 16 legal entities and Group consolidation. The role includes providing support for external audits and collaborating with accounting for data control and analysis. Additionally, the Specialist will assist in enhancing financial reporting processes and participate in the implementation of a new ERP system.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of IFRS financial statements for 16 legal entities as well as consolidated financial statements for the Group. 
  • Assist and provide support for external audits, including responding to the auditor inquiries
  • Control and analysis of accounting data collaborating with the accounting department.
  • Analysis of the differences between IFRS and Management Accounts.
  • Analysis of new operations from IFRS perspective.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for partners and management as needed.
  • Contribute to projects of optimization of financial reporting processes. 
  • Participation in the project of implementation of the new ERP system.
  • Participation in methodology analysis of new business operations

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of full financial statements preparation, preferably in Big 4, large international companies, or fast-growing tech startups.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience with the transformation and consolidation of financial statements.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and derive insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • ACCA, CPA, or DipIFR certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Projects of implementation a new ERP systems also will be a plus.
