Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Oversee the development and execution of a three-year strategy, focusing on standardization, automation, and optimization of language and cultural training programs. Align the Lab's goals with corporate objectives to ensure relevance and impact.
Program Development:
Design and implement standardized language courses plus innovate and introduce new learning formats, such as digital tools and interactive video content.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of instructors and support staff, promoting professional development and collaborative work. Evaluate and optimize team performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to identify and address specific language and cultural training needs. Build partnerships with external educational institutions to enhance program offerings.
Data-Driven Optimization:
Implement and oversee the use of analytics and feedback mechanisms to track program effectiveness, participant satisfaction, and areas for improvement. Develop dashboards to monitor student progress and training outcomes.
Community Building:
Foster a culture of continuous learning and cross-cultural exchange by creating and supporting communities for language practice and experience sharing.
Budget Management:
Manage the lab's budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining the quality and impact of training programs.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Language Education, Linguistics, or a related field
High proficiency in English
Familiarity with educational technologies and data analysis tools
Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and adapt to changing needs
Proven experience in language education, program management, or a similar role, ideally within a corporate or adult learning environment.
Creativity in designing new learning approaches and adapting existing programs to meet evolving business requirements.
Comfort with experimenting with and adopting new teaching methodologies and formats.
Desirable Skills
Deep understanding of cultural differences and the ability to integrate this knowledge into training.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools that can be used to enhance instruction and engagement.
