Job Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Business Alignment

  • Develop and execute a company-wide AI strategy that enhances ETG’s market value.
  • Incorporate AI market trends and maturity growth plans into company strategy.

AI Project Portfolio Management

  • Ensure all AI projects are documented, with clear business and technical metrics.
  • Develop financial models for AI projects, including hardware, development, implementation, and support costs.

Processes & AI Delivery Optimization

  • Establish and enforce ML development standards to prevent common errors and downtime.
  • Digitize AI/ML delivery pipelines, ensuring defined timelines and ownership at each stage.

AI Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Standardize AI/ML testing, deployment, and iteration cycles for predictable and optimized delivery.
  • Create an enabling team to validate and demonstrate the effectiveness of AI adoption.

AI Infrastructure & Scalability

  • Develop platform components to accelerate AI model delivery.
  • Establish standard model integration interfaces for production systems.

Talent & AI Expertise Development

  • Define AI team roles, career paths, and areas of responsibility.
  • Conduct AI/ML team maturity assessments, identifying growth areas and initiatives.
  • Set up AI expertise entry points, training programs, and knowledge-sharing platforms.

AI Democratization & Thought Leadership

  • Organize training on AI/ML project management and AI-driven business impact assessment.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor AI trend reviews.
  • Strengthen ETG’s employer brand in AI/ML through industry events, meetups, and conferences.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in AI/ML or software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles and 2+ years as an AI/ML manager. Proven track record of driving AI adoption and business impact.
  • Experience managing a team of 15+ people.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, data science, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure. Experience in developing state-of-the-art solutions in sorting, ranking, and pricing.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of AI monetization, ROI calculations, and AI’s role in business strategy;
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor AI teams across multiple business units.
  • Project Management: Experience managing large-scale AI initiatives, balancing quality, cost, and speed. Proven track record of implemented projects that generate or save money in previous companies.
  • Communication: Strong ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify AI implementation challenges and develop scalable, efficient solutions.
