Finance Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Analytics team, who will actively interact with the financial data analytics team, assist in understanding both financial and operational reporting, evaluate the financial effect of business performance based on data analysis and modeling.

Job Responsibilities

Immersion into the key business reporting and generating ideas for its improvement;
Maintenance of an up-to-date system of financial metrics for the entire group of companies;
Working closely with the DWH and BI team on process automation, building data marts, and collecting quality operational data;
Consulting product managers and business leaders on creating P&L statements for products and key financial components;
Improving the quality of metrics forecasting and developing the methodology for financial evaluation of various initiatives;
Conducting plan vs. actual analysis of metric deviations, identifying dependencies, and forming recommendations to enhance business performance and modeling.

Key Qualifications

The opportunity to work full-time;
Experience in financial analytics or data analysis in other positions for at least 2 years;
Desire to develop, learn new things, and take responsibility;
Knowledge of key financial product metrics in the industry and understanding of their role in business;
Excellent knowledge of SQL and work with complex queries;
Experience with BI tools (we work with Tableau);
Understanding of financial modeling basics and experience in financial project evaluation;
Excellent MS Excel skills (sumifs, vlookup, pivot tables, charting);
English language proficiency no lower than Upper Intermediate.

Will be a plus:

Knowledge of corporate finance;
Understanding of database structures (we work with Vertica);
Python skills (pandas, numpy, seaborn, matplotlib, scikit-learn, scipy)
