Backend Software Engineer (Engagement marketing team)

We are seeking a Middle Golang Developer to join the Engagement Marketing Team.

The team is focused on developing a key marketing area—attracting new customers.

The team's developments attract a large volume of traffic and bookings worldwide.

One aspect of the team's work is centered around a high-traffic search service (~100,000 requests per minute), enabling users to compare prices from various online travel agencies (OTAs) for the same hotel based on price and availability.

The team also develops integrations with metasearch engines, using complex algorithms to place offers that are beneficial to our users.

Job Responsibilities

  • develop new services and integrations for the performance marketing team;
  • maintain the existing metasearch infrastructure;
  • participate in designing the architecture of new services alongside senior colleagues.

 

Key Qualifications

  • overall commercial development experience of 3 years;
  • at least 2 years of experience working with Golang;
  • development of strict, backward-compatible synchronous and asynchronous APIs;
  • refactoring code in Golang;
  • knowledge of SQL databases;
  • deep knowledge of containerization at the user level;
  • application design skills, including unit testing;
  • minimum English proficiency level, including spoken English - B1.
