Ostrovok is a travel-tech company that creates online booking platforms for hotels, airline tickets and other services for individual travelers, corporate clients and travel agencies.

Our brands include Ostrovok, B2B.Ostrovok.ru, Ostrovok.ru Komandirovki. We develop projects both in Russia and abroad. 

Currently we are searching for a Team Leader for concierge service, which provides our VIP clients with personalized leisure- and business trips.

Job Responsibilities

1. Team Management:

  • Team building: participate in the recruitment process, conduct interviews, and engage in training and onboarding of new employees to ensure the team is fully staffed and is operating effectively;

  • Monitor team performance: identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against established KPIs on a monthly basis;

  • Leadership: provide support to team members, create an atmosphere that fosters cooperation and focus on high performance.

2.  Product Development and Marketing:

  • Business strategy development and marketing: shape the business development trajectory

  • Market research: analyze the market, look for new growth points

  • Competitive analysis: study competitors' offerings and come up with ideas on how to refine the product

  • Interaction with the marketing team: participate in the development of marketing strategy, as well as in various marketing activities.

  • Participation in product development: collaborate with the product development team to improve concierge services;

3. Operational leadership:

  • Process management: collaborate with operations team-lead to optimize processes, improve efficiency and customer satisfaction;

  • Cooperate with other departments: participate in cross-team meetings to ensure alignment and coordination;

  • Handle complex cases: ensure prompt and effective decision making in complex situations that arise for clients and team issues;

  • Participate in ensuring document management and interact with the finance department;

  • Manage expenses;

  • Develop travel policies.

4. Customer Communication: implement and improve customer communication strategies to ensure clear and effective interactions with customers

5. Training and Development:

  • Participation in training: participate and organize information tours (infotours) to be familiar with industry trends and best practices;

  • Team training: facilitate team participation in infotours to enhance knowledge and skills.

6. Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Management: contribute to the development and achievement of team and company OKRs in line with overall business objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in concierge agencies, TMC, DMC or tour operator companies that focus on VIP services;

  • Experience in team building and its management

  • Leadership qualities, proactivity

  • Strong managerial and communication skills

  • Systematic thinking, ability to think strategically, analytical mindset

  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment

  • Result-oriented motivation

  • Knowledge of labour and tax legislation basics

  • Business communication, business correspondence skills

  • English language skills at B2+ level (including conversational)
